Darren Bent....I can't see why the majority of Sunderland fans have reacted badly to this signing. Darren Bent is a goalscorer who averages 20 goals a season in all competitions, even as a substitute last season he was the Spuds top scorer with 17. Why moan about Bent when all we have is Kenwyne???? This is going to be a top quality signing and he will soon start paying for himself, in Spurs he was at the wrong club. He is going to have a bright future ahead of him..........
Chamakh....what is this bloke playing at, he is the 1 all the hatred should be aimed at.....last week he claims the Sunderland deal is almost done, only because Arsenal hadn't come in for him (hmmmmmmmmm, this a loyal person who certainly will not jump ship when the next club comes knocking). And now after his friendly match in Canada, he claims he still doesn't know here he will be plying his trade come the start of the season.......waste of space......don't sign him
Onto a more sad note, Harry Redknapp has still not choked on his own saggy face yet.......the bloke is winding me up more and more each day. I would have no qualms goin up to him in the street, phone at the ready and happy slapping the twat. He's going to bring the Spuds down financially, just like he did at Portsmouth, then Southampton, then Portsmouth.....again......

Bore off!!!
I have been a Sun'land fan all my life, had a season ticket all through my teenage years until I was forced to give it up due to a relocation of my work..............And I am now getting wound up by fellow bloggers (as you can tell by the layout of this blog, this is my first time) who are supporters of other teams. I came across 1, an Arsenal fan.........he begins by slating Wenger for not signing Lorik Cana, and letting him join a mediocre team, this being Sunderland. Now, I can only imagine this knob is worried that someone is going to steal, from under their noses, their supposed devine right to 4th place. in comparison, Arsenal will struggle against the big 4 this season, now throw into the mix Villa, Everton and now City. All these gooners (as I now live in Kent) keep going on about how they'll be fine blah blah blah....no they wont. The 25mil they got for Adepooya WILL be used for debt restructuring, not transfers. They lost out on Melo, Cana (apparently) and Chamakh (as he has now supposedly chosen Sun'land). Rather than all these cock jockey's slating Sun'land, why don't they focus on their own manager. Wenger is scared to offer any player more than £2 a week. This is the reason they get turned down by players, or is perhaps because they know Arsenal are the mediocre team of the big 4 and ARE not going to win a trophy, well, perhaps the Carling Cup anyway. Chelsea are rich and spend, Man U are rich and spend, Liverpool are not so rich, but still spend, Arsenal are the 3rd richest club in the world but don't spend. Now because we have a new owner in Ellis Short who is spending money, the gooners are slightly narked by this. Bore off.
On Chamakh though, i'm not sure on the guy, when you look at his stats, he isn't really a goalscorer, he does have his positives, however, loyalty does not seem to be 1 of them. The bloke was waiting for Arsenal to come in, but they didn't because they dont have no money, so he said Sun'land would do fine, it would be a good challenge.....................If we do get him, and if he does perform, he'll jump ship as soon as the bigger clubs come knocking..................
Kind of like Robinho when he joined City.........When he was presented with his blue shirt at his unveiling press conference, i'm sure I lip read him saying 'Boss.......I thought we played in red???????'
